Angeles National Forest Resource Program

The Angeles National Forest Resources Department provides expert advice and analysis to support the forest Land Management Plan through a number of programs. These include forest products management (fuelwood), vegetation and watershed management, wildlife and fisheries habitat management, reforestation, forest health, and burned area emergency response.

The Resources Department employs 22 professionals in the Supervisor’s Office and on the districts. Its staff members have broad ecological and resources management experience in air quality, hydrology, biology, botany, geographic information systems, geology, forestry, vegetation management, land planning, and environmental compliance.
