Know Before You Go - Public Notices

As a visitor to the national forest, you are asked to follow certain rules designed to protect the forest and the natural resources and to provide for the public safety of visitors. These rules are available to you online for your review. Forest officers are empowered to enforce the Federal Regulations which the rules listed in the brochure are taken from. Please take time to read and understand them. If you have additional questions please call your local Forest Service Office for clarification.

Forest Orders/Federal Regulations

The Forest Supervisor may issue Special Orders and Closures that will close or restrict the use of certain areas if the need arises. Such orders will be posted so visitors to the Forest can reasonably be expected to be familiar with them. Copies of the orders are available at the Forest Supervisors Office and online. If you have questions, please contact the Forest Supervisor’s Office at (626) 574-1613.
