Boulder Ranger District:

  • Lefthand OHV Area: These photos taken this spring 2014 the extensive damage throughout the OHV area.

Canyon Lakes Ranger District:

  • Lily Mountain: Photos from flood recovery work in June 2014 on the Lily Mountain Trail near Estes Park.
  • Sevenmile Road: These photos from 2014 show the extensive damage done on portions of the Sevenmile Road system.
  • Young Gulch Trail: These photos show the amount of damage done to this popular trail south of the Poudre Canyon on the Canyon Lakes Ranger District. All five miles of this trail received damage, with the first two miles fairing the worst.
  • Damaged County Road 43 Picnic Areas: The Glen Haven, Upper North Fork and Lower North Fork picnic areas were all destroyed by the flood.
  • Decommissioned County Road 43 Picnic Areas: Photos from May 2014 of work done to remove these damaged facilities.
  • Big Thompson Accessible Fishing Pier: This popular fishing pier off the Big Thompson River was severely damaged during the flood. What remains of the site will be removed for safety purposes.
  • Lion Gulch Trail: This very popular trail south of Estes Park is heavily damaged, including multple bridges destroyed.
