Forests and Grassland Level Roads Analysis Report

The objective of roads analysis in the Forest Service (FS) is to provide managers with critical information to manage road systems that are safe and responsive to public needs, are affordable and efficiently managed, are adequate for management activities, have minimal negative ecological effects on the land, and are in balance with available funding. This forest-grassland-level Roads Analysis addresses all two-wheel drive vehicle roads, which are classified maintenance level (ML) 3, 4, or 5.
