                                        Sizer Fire

Location: Springerville Ranger District on the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, one mile southeast of Greer, AZ.              

 

Terrain: Mid slope                                                                 Cause:  Lightning

Start Date:  July 19, 2018                                                     Vegetation: Dead and down, grass

Size:  Approximately .02 of an acre                                     Growth Potential: Low

                        

Springerville, AZ--June 20, 2018-

Summary: The Sizer Fire is burning in the old Wallow Fire burn area. It is being monitored at this time, strategy may change as needs arise. No additional resources are being requested at this time.
