Dinner Station Campground Closed Through Mid Summer

The Dillon Ranger District of the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest is closing Dinner Station campground in the Birch Creek area through mid summer. The campground was previously closed to clean up and make repairs after illegal firewood cutters cut trees and damaged facilities this past winter.

“After we got into the campground and cleaned it up, we reassessed the site and saw that there was much more work that needed to be done to remove hazardous trees and to ensure the campground was safe for visitors before opening it to camping,” said Dillon District Ranger Tom Osen.
