Hamilton, Montana – The Lost Trail Bike Fest & Shuttle Extravaganza at Lost Trail Ski Area on the Bitterroot National Forest begins this Friday night with registration, a movie, and camping at the Lost Trail Ski Area.

On Saturday, riders will take advantage of the trails winding their way off Lost Trail Pass and down Warm Springs Ridge into the East Fork of the Bitterroot.  A shuttle at Spring Gulch Campground will take riders back to the top to do it all over again.  Riders will choose from 6 trails, ranging from beginner to expert.  Forest trails included in the ride are Warm Springs, Fire Creek, Porcupine Creek, Overwhich Falls, and a beginner route which is all on Forest Service roads.

Kids 16 and under can ride the shuttle for free when accompanied by a paying adult.  Saturday night will include dinner, live music, a raffle, and camping.  The Lost Trail Bike Fest is organized by the Bitterroot Backcountry Cyclists and is authorized by the Forest Service under a special use permit.  Visit for registration and more information.
