2020 Emergency Personal Free Use Firewood

The Black Hills National Forest is offering free-use firewood permits. The letter of authorization below allows for cutting of up to 4 cords of wood and is valid through May 31, 2020. The firewood is to be used for personal use and cannot be re-sold. Firewood cutting guidelines remain the same. The below letter must be in possession when cutting firewood.
