Third Fork Cabin
The Third Fork Cabin lies at an elevation of 4700 feet in a beautiful ponderosa pine setting just north of Ola on Forest Service Road 618. This rustic cabin was originally built in 1908 and then rebuilt by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1933.

Deadwood Lookout in Idaho
The Deadwood Lookout is generally open from June through mid-October. This historic former Forest Service fire lookout was active until 1972 to report wildfires.

The Idaho City Ranger District

The Kirkham Campground
The Kirkham Campground has 16 sites located on the South Fork Payette River. Visitors enjoy the popular Kirkham Hot Springs and exploring the nearby Kirkham Ridge Trail.

Shoreline Campground
Shoreline Campground has 23 single campsites and 8 double sites for up to 10 people. It features paved parking and areas large enough to easily accommodate a 35-foot trailer.

Warm Lake Campground
The Warm Lake Campground is a cozy, small campground shaded by large ponderosa pines. It holds twelve campsites. All sites have tables, campfire rings, grills, vaulted toilets and available drinking water.

Picnic Point Campground
Just off of Highway 22 is Picnic Point Campground, an 8-site campground on a bluff overlooking Warm Lake. This campground offers tent-only campsites and is accessed via a 50–200-foot hike from the parking area.

South Fork Salmon River Campground
The South Fork Salmon River Campground has 14 sites available on a first come, first served basis. Campsites feature tables, fire rings, grills and vault toilets. There is no water available after October first.

Hardscrabble Campground
Hardscrabble Campground has six sites all of which can accommodate vehicles up to 30 feet in length. There is no drinking water available. The campground is also on a first come, first served basis.

Boiling Springs Campground
Boiling Springs Campground has 9 units and a maximum RV length of 30 feet. There is drinking water, a swimming area, and hiking trails that lead to several hot springs.

Eastside Campground
The Eastside Campground at Sage Hen Reservoir in Idaho is made up of one large group site that will accommodate up to 50 people and 10 vehicles. Most of the campsites have partial lake views and many amenities.

Hollywood Campground
The Hollywood Campground at Sage Hen Reservoir has 6 sites and is available on a first come, first serve basis. The campground has units with paved parking that can accommodate an RV up 22 feet long.

Sage Hen Creek Campground
Sage Hen Creek Campground has 9 sites available by reservation, many of which are handicap accessible. The Sage Hen Reservoir trail near the campground is a fun hiking experience offering a 4-mile loop trail around the lake.

Cozy Cove Campground
Cozy Cove Campground has 16 sites on the southeast shore of Deadwood Reservoir. The campground is equipped with tables, grills, fire pits, vault toilets and hand pumped drinking water.

Riverside Campground
Riverside Campground at Deadwood Reservoir is unique due to its location along the Deadwood River. The campground is equipped with tables, grills, fire pits, vault toilets and hand pumped drinking water.

Howers Campground
Howers Campground has 10 waterfront sites and direct shoreline access. The campground is equipped with tables, grills, fire pits, vault toilets and hand pumped drinking water. The campgrounds generally open near Memorial Day.

Barneys Campground
The Barneys Campground has 8 sites and is just a stone's throw to the north of Howers Campground. The campground is equipped with tables, grills, fire pits, vault toilets and hand pumped drinking water. Reservations can be made at recreation.gov

Trinity Mountain Campgrounds
The Trinity Mountain Recreation Area, features Elks Flat Campground, Big Trinity Lake Campground, the Rainbow Basin Trail, Roaring River Lake Campground, Big Roaring River Lake Campground and Trinity Mountain Lookout.

Ten Mile Campground
The Ten Mile Campground is about 10 miles east of Idaho City along Highway 21. It has 16 campsites in a thick ponderosa pine forest. The campground is not on a reservation system and is first come, first served.

Whoop Um Up Equestrian Campground
About 5 miles east of Mores Creek Summit is the Whoop Um Up Equestrian 6-unit campground. It has features to unload your horses, with an area to feed and overnight them. The nearby Whoop Um Up Trail provides immediate riding opportunities.

Willow Creek Campground
Willow Creek Campground located at the confluence of Crooked River and Willow Creek has only has 4 campsites. This is a more primitive site with no running water, but vault toilets are available. It is not on the reservation system.

Edna Creek Campground
The Edna Creek Campground is located 56 miles northeast of Boise. Picnic tables, BBQ grills and a fire ring with benches are provided in the open and partially shaded area. Reservations are available through recreation.gov.

Grayback Gulch Campground
The Grayback Gulch Campground has two large group sites and 14 individual campsites. Each has a table, campfire ring and a lantern post. Vault toilets, drinking water and trash collection are provided.

Hayfork Group Campground
The Hayfork Group Campground can accommodate up to 50 people. It has multiple tables, a grill and a campfire circle with benches. Reservations are available through recreation.gov.

Bad Bear Campground
Bad Bear Campground is along Highway 21 not far from Idaho City. it has 6 campsites and has paved parking spurs. Sites can be reserved at recreation.gov.
