Bridger-Teton National Forest Current Outreach

A position outreach serves as advertising for a job position that has recently opened in the Forest as well as it helps the hiring managers know what type of applicants will be applying for the job once it opens. It also helps the applicant in that they can ask questions to the assigned Forest contact before the job application is open and will get a notice once the online application is available. The Forest Service only uses USA Jobs for submitting job applications. Turning in a physical applications at any administrative offices is not accepted.

2019 Summer Seasonal Fire Outreach-   The Bridger‐Teton National Forest will be hiring seasonal positions for the 2019 summer season starting in early September of 2018. Applicants must apply to the module vacancy by selecting the specific Duty Station in USAjobs. You must have your completed application submitted by midnight (Eastern Standard Time) of the closing date of the vacancy. The Forest may fill up to 19 wildland fire positions, including: helitack, engines, fire module and fire cache. Housing may be available at some duty stations. More

2019 Fire Hire Outreach (permanent positions) - The Bridger-Teton National Forest is looking for a committed, hardworking, highly skilled workforce to work in wildland fire suppression and in fuels management within the Teton Interagency Fire program. The fire and aviation management program is very rewarding and requires talented people working safely as part of a team in a variety of specialized positions including; dispatch, apprentice, engine crews, fuels management, fire module, helitack, and prevention.
 
2019 Summer Seasonal Outreach- The Bridger-Teton National Forest may fill up to 99 positions, including: recreation (trails, wilderness, off highway vehicle, river), timber, range, wildlife, fisheries, archeology, hydrology, and customer service.  Multiple duty stations are available across the forest and some postions will have multiple positions filled.
