Piney Post

Want to know what’s happening on the Big Piney Ranger District of the Bridger-Teton National Forest?

The Big Piney Ranger District is proud to announce our quartely publication, 'The Piney Post'. This is a district newsletter created with the intent to bridge a gap in communication between us and the communities we serve, as well as to provide updates on what we are doing and share some positive memories and stories of adventures on the district!

Some articles include:

Fuelwood Permit Information

Hiking Trail Updates

Current and Proposed District Projects

Volunteer Involvement and Opportunities

And much more!

We have created a digital mailing list, and will be sending out a new issue quarterly! Please let us know if you would like to added to the list.

If anyone would like to submit any pictures or adventures you’ve had on the Big Piney Ranger District, you can contact me, Briana Steele, the Piney Post’s editor at brianasteele@fs.fed.us, or I can be reached by phone at 307-276-5800.  I may also be contacted with any questions, comments, or suggestions as well!
