Carson National Forest Invites You to Snowshoe with a Biologist

Red River, NM (February 13, 2020) - For Immediate Release. The Carson National Forest would like to invite you to come Snowshoe with a Biologist. If you enjoy the outdoors and want to learn more about your public lands this the perfect opportunity for you! 

Free and open to all ages, the Snowshoe with a Biologist program is an interactive way to connect you with Forest Service employees who have a keen interest in natural resource education. Programs run every Friday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Enchanted Forest Cross Country Ski Area, Red River, New Mexico.

Programs run through March 20th and are specifically designed to explore the flora, fauna, as well as, the history and ecology of the local area.

Those members of the public who are interested should plan to bring Snowshoes, Poles, Water, Snacks, Binoculars, and their Trail Pass. For more information call Adam LaDell, Carson National Forest Supervisor’s Office at 575-758-6200.
