Partnerships, Volunteer, and Youth Engagement on the Chugach National Forest

Engaging youth in conservation stewardship; promoting healthy, active lifestyles; and serving communities are goals that contribute to a healthy and vibrant America. Youth and volunteer work on the Chugach National Forest supports recreation, restoration, and natural resource economies, and helps create future stewards of public lands. Youth work also helps facilitate job skill development that can provide potential careers for youth into the future.

All of the work that happens on the Chugach National Forest cannot be achieved without the help from partners, grant opportunities, volunteers, Tribes, and community engagement. We appreciate the many partners who work with us and the many volunteers, interns, and work crews. These are the faces of our forest!
