Mount Taylor Road 480 Closure

Albuquerque, NM, August 31, 2018 – A Road Closure Order has been issued for National Forest System Road 480 in effect August 31, 2018 and shall remain in effect until December 31, 2019 or until rescinded.

The purpose of this Order is for the protection of public health and safety due to road wash out and culvert damage from recent heavy monsoonal rain.

This road closure is for National Forest System Road 480 between Ojo Redondo Campground and the intersection of FR 480 and FR 425, together with all connected spur roads, as depicted on the attached Order No. 03-0671 Exhibit A map.

Violations of this order are punishable by a fine of $5,000 for individuals or $10,000 for organizations, or by 6 months of imprisonment, or both.
