Fuelwood Permits reduced to $5.00 per cord

Albuquerque, NM, September 19, 2018 – Beginning on September 19, 2018, fuelwood permits for the Mt. Taylor Ranger District will be available for $5.00 per cord, with a minimum purchase of $20.00, at the following locations:

Mt. Taylor Ranger District Office, 1800 Lobo Canyon Rd in Grants NM. 
Available for purchase 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 a.m. and 12:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Monday through Friday.

Fort Wingate, 326D Painted Horse Trail, Fort Wingate NM.
Available for purchase 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays, and
8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Saturdays.

Cibola NF & NGs Supervisor’s Office, 2113 Osuna Rd NE, Albuquerque NM.
Available for purchase 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Monday through Friday.

Beginning on September 20, 2018, fuelwood permits for the Magdalena Ranger District will be available for $5.00 per cord, with a minimum purchase of $20.00 at the following locations:

Magdalena Ranger District Office, 203 First St. Magdalena NM.
Available for purchase 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

Cibola NF & NGs Supervisor’s Office, 2113 Osuna Rd NE, Albuquerque NM.
Available for purchase 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Monday through Friday.

Fuelwood permits will also be available for $5.00 per cord, with a minimum purchase of $20.00, at the Mountainair Ranger District, the Sandia Ranger District and the Kiowa Ranger District beginning on September 20, 2018.  The Ranger District offices can provide information concerning times available for purchase at their locations.
