RHINELANDER, Wis. (December 1, 2017) – The Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest and forests across the Eastern Region are seeking qualified applicants to fill temporary, full-time positions for the 2018 summer season. 

Vacancy announcements were posted to USA Jobs today and applications will be accepted through Thursday, December 7. 

The vacancies include the following positions: Biological Science Technician (Plants), Forestry Technician (Timber/Silviculture), Forestry Technician (Recreation/Trails), and Biological Science Technician (Fish/Wildlife). 

The start date, length of season and number of positions hired will depend upon budget and individual unit needs. Seasonal housing may be available in some locations. Please note that this is a partial listing of temporary positions, additional employment opportunities may be available at a later date.
