Road Closure Report

Please use caution when driving on Forest roads during the wet spring months. Many Forest roads may have experienced storm and runoff damage that can make them impassible. Never attempt to cross a flooded road and use extreme caution when driving on roads near swollen streams.

Three Rivers Ranger District

9411130 Dominion Mtn- A large road failure has left the road impassable to motorized vehicles beyond milepost 2.8. For more information of this closure, please contact the Three Rivers Ranger District at (509) 738-7700.

9500705 (Renner Lake Road) is temporarily closed from milepost .5 to National Forest Road 95000715. Renner Lake and Davis Lake are still accessible from Highway 395, but the Forest Road that connects the two is washed out. 

Republic Ranger District

2160000 Aeneas Creek- A large road failure has left the road impassable to motorized vehicles beyond milepost 6.5. Profanity Trailhead is approximately 1000 feet beyond the closure and is accessible to foot traffic. Newport Ranger District

1920000 CCA Creek- A large road failure has left the road impassable to motorized vehicles from mile post 10.0 to mile post 12.1. For more information on this temporary closure, please contact the Newport Ranger District at (509) 447-7300.

1921000 Browns Creek Road- A large road failure has left the road impassable to motorized vehicles from milepost 1.63 to milepost 2.56. For more information please contact the Newport Ranger Station at (509) 447-7300.

NFS Road # 3540000 beginning at the junction with NFS Road # 3540400 to the junction with NFS Road # 3540600.  See Map

Forest Road 1935105 (Diamond City Road), and National Forest System Land west of county road C-3503 (West Branch LeClerc Road) and north of Forest Road 1935115 (Hanlon Cutoff Road) within section 18 (T 36N, R 44E) are closed to public access until crews complete their work; the anticipated completion date is July 27, 2018. Sullivan Lake Ranger District

3155000 Slate Creek- Large road failure, impassible to all motorized vehicles beyond MP 6.5.

507 North Fork Trail - Due to the trail bridge failure that crosses a large riparian area next to the Upper North Fork of Sullivan Creek. 

2200500 John’s Creek, from its intersection with National Forest System Road 2200 to its terminus at the Hall Mountain trailhead.
