Information sought on person of interest in connection with Molino Fire

Tucson, AZ (April 10, 2017) – For Immediate Release. Coronado National Forest officials are asking members of the public to share any information they may have in connection with a person of interest as related to the recent Molino Fire on Mt. Lemmon.
The Molino Fire was reported at 12:30 on Tuesday afternoon, April 4, at Milepost 4.5 along the Mt. Lemmon Highway. Based upon witness reports, the fire origin and activity predominantly associated with the area of origin, the fire was determined to be related to recreational shooting activity.
The person of interest is described as a white male, tall, average to husky build (not muscular, not fat, but well built), wearing a light colored hat (possibly gray or tan), a gray shirt, shorts, and tennis shoes. He was seen moving quickly to a vehicle parked at Milepost 4.5. The vehicle was described as a forest-green, mid-1990s Ford Explorer.
Those with information on the person of interest, observations of activity that may have appeared to be suspicious, or observations of activities in the vicinity of Milepost 4.5 on Tuesday from late morning up to 12:30 p.m. are asked to contact the Coronado National Forest Supervisor’s Office at (520), 388-8300.
