The bridge is located in National Forest System lands in the Tanner Creek watershed on the Wahclella Falls Trail #346, a popular 1.2-mile loop trail providing views of Tanner Creek and Wahclella Falls. The Forest Service is also conducting an environmental review of the project in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
