Local Ranger Districts apply for IDPR Grants 1/16/19

In January the Montpelier and Soda Springs Ranger Districts will apply for Grants to the state if Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation for the 2019-2020 Field season. IDPR provides a variety of funding programs and grants to government entities in Idaho for the enhancement of off highway vehicle and other recreational opportunities. The state programs are primarily funded from off highway vehicle registrations and state gas tax revenue.

This year the Montpelier Soda Zone will be applying to the Off Road Motor Vehicle fund, Recreation Trails Program fund, and Recreation Vehicle funds to request funding for:

Gibson Lakes Road- Repair and Maintenance Recreational Road and Bridge Fund – Submitted by Kara Green

Clear Creek RV Access – RV fund- Submitted by Jared Mattson

Caribou Trail Sign Repair/Replacement - ORMV fund- Submitted by Jared Mattson

Midland Trail #312 Trail Bridge and Reroute- ORMV Fund- Submitted by Dell Transtrum

Soda Springs District OHV Trail Maintenance- RTP Fund- Submitted by Dell Transtrum

Montpelier District OHV Trail Maintenance- ORMV Fund- Submitted by Dell Transtrum
