Submitting Photos

The Daniel Boone National Forest is encouraging all nature lovers and amateur shutterbugs to capture their favorite views, moments and adventures on the Daniel Boone National Forest. We hope to use them on our website, social media, in printed materials, and on displays. Include your family having fun, horses, dogs, OHV riders, mountain bikers, hunters, boaters... anybody enjoying the forest, along with scenic shots and closeups.

All photographs must:

  1. Be taken on the Daniel Boone National Forest.
  2. Be taken by the person submitting the images and who has the rights to those images. See photo release form.
  3. Not promote wrongful conduct.
  4. If you photograph a person under 18, you must have parent fill out minor photo release form.

Rights:

By submitting photos, the photographer agrees to grant the Forest Service the rights to publish his or her image or images on Forest Service social media to include Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Flickr, as well as on the Forest Service website, brochures and displays. If we use your photo, you will need to fill out a photo release form.

All photographs used by the Forest Service will display a byline of photographer. If you have any questions, please email gwen.hensley@usda.gov.
