Welcome to the first of its kind web site designed to help you better understand the oil and gas permitting and production policies and procedures currently being used on the Medora and McKenzie Ranger Districts of the Dakota Prairie Grasslands.

Whether you are a new or long time Operator or Permit Holder on our unit, we believe that you will find something on this site to meet your needs.  This site offers general information on permitting and production, policies, step-by-step processes, and how-to tutorials for submitting surface use plans of operations, seismic permits, herbicide applications, and mineral related special use applications.

We have included information regarding all phases of oil and gas from leasing to final reclamation.  It includes all types of special use permits.  Since it is important that we establish and maintain a good working relationship and partnership with each other, we have included the general practices and policies that have been developed over the years to help foster that relationship and partnership.

This is a work in progress and the site is subject to change as changes and updates occur.  If you find that this site does not provide you with the information or processes that you require, please let us know.  All of the materials on this web site can either be downloaded or are available upon request.

It is our intent to maintain a good working relationship with you and your company at all times and we hope this site helps meet both our needs.
