Ski with a Ranger 2025

The Eldorado National Forest offers free guided tours at Sierra at Tahoe and Kirkwood Mountain Resort through “Ski with a Ranger”. These tours last approximately one-hour and are led by Forest Service staff and volunteers in cooperation with Sierra at Tahoe and Kirkwood Mountain Resort. The tour educates the public about the local natural environment while skiing/snowboarding down groomed trails. Join us and learn about the forests of your favorite ski resorts!

Tour attendees must be at least intermediate level skiers/snowboarders and have their own lift ticket and gear. No reservations are required. Simply meet our Ski with a Ranger tour leads at the designated meeting time and place to attend. Please note, attendance for the tour is on a first-come, first-served basis and will be limited to 10 people.
