Forest Plan Amendments

Red-cockaded woodpecker bandingForest plans are designed to be modified when needed. Changes may be identified from a variety of sources such as annual monitoring and evaluation, changed environmental conditions or social issues. When a potential change to the Land and Resource Management Plan is identified, it is analyzed to determine the potential effects on forest resources and public use.

Since 1999, the National Forests in Florida Land and Resource Management Plan has been amended 12 times. The amendments are available below along with replacement pages that show how the changes affect the forest plan.
