The Winema National Forest Land and Resource Management Plan
Amendment 3
This amendment (March 5, 1992) reflected the results of an analysis of old growth as directed on page 21 of the Record of Decision for the Forest Plan. It located on the ground over 23,000 acres of retained old growth (Management Area 7) in the ponderosa pine working group beyond that needed to meet the management requirements for wildlife. The amendment corrected Table 4-19 on page 4-84 to show the updated acreage of each Management Area:
