Engagement & Inclusion

Northwest Forest Plan & Amendment

Comment on Draft Amendment | Attend a Public Meeting | Guides for Participation

The Forest Service operates under a mandate of public service. A significant and valuable part of that service includes engagement and consultation with the public, as we work to understand the public’s needs and interests. We seek to create inclusive communication and collaboration across jurisdictional and cultural boundaries. As we advance through the forest planning process and development of the Northwest Forest Plan amendment, we will be working to create opportunities for the public to engage in the process. Through our website and other outreach tools, we will keep the public informed of developments and opportunities to participate.
