Overload Road Use Permits for Oversize and/or Overweight
Required for all vehicles that exceed the maximum load, weight, length, height, or width restrictions applicable to State or county road systems. See Washington State Commercial Vehicle Guide chapter 4 and appendixes for more guidance on restrictive values.
To Request an Overload Road Use Permit for Oversize and/or Overweight Vehicle(s):
Step 1: Download the permit application, and fill it out completely. Permits that are not filled out in their entirety may require additional time to process.
Step 2: Send the completed permit application request using one of the following links.

Step 3: Please allow for 1-2 weeks processing time. A Forest Service Official will contact you regarding your permit in the order that they are processed.
