Please never leave your campfires unattended, and use water to extinguish it, ensuring it is completely out and cool to touch before leaving the area. Fireworks are ALWAYS prohibited on National Forest lands.

Current Fire Restrictions

Acting Regional Forester Jennifer Eberlien has signed termination orders to rescind the regional developed recreation site closure and fire restriction orders effective May 20, 2020. At this time the GMUG will not be instituting local fire restriction orders.
