Bridgeport Ranger District

Under ConstructionRising from the Great Basin to the crest of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the District includes breathtaking vistas of vast landscapes in both California and Nevada. Elevations on the District range from 4,500 feet at Wilson Canyon to 12,370 feet at Dunderberg Peak, which is the highest point on the Forest. The District spans five mountain ranges and features alpine lakes, rugged backcountry, and beautiful meadows. Vegetation ranges from high alpine plant communities to salt desert flats.
