Dogtown Lake Campground

Saturday, June 30, 6:30 pm - “Wildlife of the Kaibab!” Learn about the habitats, foraging habits, and care of offspring of the birds and mammals of the forest.


Kaibab Lake Campground

Saturday, June 30, 7:00 pm - “Meet Mr. Abert’s Squirrel” Discover the world of our tassel-eared tree squirrel, why we find pine cone cobs and fairy wands, and the squirrel’s role in creating a healthy ponderosa pine forest.

Sunday, July 1, 10:00 am - Nature Walk. (about 45 minutes). Please wear appropriate footwear.


White Horse Lake Campground

Saturday, June 30, 10:00 am - Nature Walk (about 45 minutes). Explore the worlds of water and forest of White Horse. All ages welcome. Please wear appropriate footwear.

Sunday, July 1, 10:00 am to Noon. Discovery Tables - Stop by one of our tables and learn about Big Game animals, silviculture, tree rings and insects, soils, wetlands and watersheds.
