Gibralter Ridge Fire Burning Near Eureka

EUREKA, Mont. August 8, 2017New wildfires are burning near Eureka after last night’s lightning storm. The Gibralter Ridge Fire is estimated at 800-1,000 acres. Evacuation notices and pre-evacuation notices were sent to affected residents by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. A Type II Team is en route to manage the fires. Also additional resources also have been ordered to fight these fires.
