Opportunity to comment on Proposed Projects on the Sacramento Ranger District

ALAMOGORDO and CLOUDCROFT, NM – The Lincoln National Forest’s Sacramento Ranger District is proposing to authorize the following projects:

  • Alamo Peak Special Use Permit;

  • City of Alamogordo Water Pipelines Special Use Permit;

  • Cloudcroft Wastewater Treatment Plant Special Use Permit;

  • Penasco Valley Telephone Special Use Permit;

  • Tri State Special Use Permit;

  • Rails To Trails Trail Projects;

  • Otero County Electric Cooperative Range Powerline;

  • Clayton Trick Tank;

  • Perk Bridge Culvert;

  • Wills Canyon Headcut Repair; and

  • Upper Rio Penasco Stream Restoration I.

    The Sacramento Ranger District is analyzing multiple projects at once to improve efficiency and streamline the analysis process in order to get more projects done on the ground in less time.
