Fish/Water - Rehabilitation Projects

The Lolo National Forest has an active watershed rehabilitation program that focuses on restoring proper stream function and is an integral part of watershed and fisheries management. Work includes but is not limited to channel re-naturalization, bank stabilization, water diversion improvements, riparian planting, road relocation, road stabilization and culvert (stream crossing) replacements.

The Lolo watershed and fisheries staff work closely with forest engineers, other forest resource specialists, cooperating government agencies and our partners to achieve desired goals.

We will be placing old projects in this area as we post new ones above.
