The big news this month is snow! Feet of snow are now covering the mountains and meadows! This bounty of frozen water will feed the reservoirs and refresh the wildflowers in spring! It also increases the importance of preparing for your outdoor adventure before you recreate on the Manti-La Sal National Forest. This month's newsletter highlights our record breaking snows, avalanche awareness education, winter safety, as well as providing updates from our employees and from around the Forest Service.
