Every Kid In A Park

Every Kid In A Park is a program that allows U.S. 4th graders to get a free pass that will cover entrance fees at federal recreation lands such as US Forest Service sites or National Parks. This program allows kids to learn about their heritage and connect with nature.  There are more than 400 national parks and millions of acres of federal lands and waters.

If you visit Every Kid In A Park.gov, you can complete an online game and then download and print a voucher for this free pass. This paper can then be exchanged for a more durable plastic Interagency Annual 4th grade pass that will allow you to get into your National Forests and National Parks and Monuments for free. Of course your fourth grader has to be with you in order to gain entry using the pass.

The US Forest Service will also give 4th graders with the Every Kid in A Park pass a free Christmas Tree Permit!

The 4th grade pass is valid from September 1 to August 31 the following year (just before the new school year). If you are (or have) a current 4th grader, go to Every Kid in a Park.gov, get your FREE pass today, and start exploring!
