  • Pack Creek Picnic Area Closure: To prevent potential injury to the public due to unstable soils and damaged trees/vegetation by restricting access to heavily affected areas of the Pack Creek Fire.

First be sure you and your family are in a safe place. Please call 435-637-2817 during the week to report a situation or call 9-1-1 on the weekend.

If you have an emergency on the National Forest, the best thing to do is call 9-1-1 and they will dispatch the nearest help. Cell service is not always available. You may need to travel to a higher point to get service.

Please call the Moab Fire Dispatch Center, 435-259-1850. They will dispatch the appropriate personnel.
