Nooksack Integrated Conservation and Enhancement (NICE) Project Public Meetings

Sedro Woolley, Wash. Feb. 16, 2018—Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest is hosting two public meetings on March 8th and April 12th in Kendall, WA.  The Forest invites you to share input on potential future projects along the North Fork Nooksack corridor of the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest on the Mt. Baker District.

Proposed concepts will include logging operations, recreation and trail projects, road and access improvements, campground reconstruction and relocation, as well as habitat and watershed restoration.

"We hope to work closely with the public on this project from the very beginning as we take a look at the area to determine what is important and what needs work," "said District Ranger Erin Uloth.
