Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) Worker Statue #72 Dedication

Glacier, Wash. Jun. 09, 2018The Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest and the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) Legacy is holding a dedication to the CCC Saturday June 16th from 1 pm – 2 pm at the CCC built Glacier Public Service Center. 

The dedication was coordinated following the installation of the 72nd CCC Worker Statue through a participation agreement between the US Forest Service and the CCC Legacy.

Local authors Mike Impero and Janet Oakley will be present to share their extensive knowledge of the CCC within the Glacier area.  Forest Service representatives will also be available to speak with visitors and community members about the CCC’s historic relationship with the Agency.
