PARTICIPANTS

A DIVERSE GROUP OF PARTNERS and stakeholders have formed an informal “Sustainable Roads Cadre” to make sure the public has a say about the roads that are important to them and tell us why. Since the cadre represents a span of use groups ranging from environmental, hunting, hiking, to off-road vehicles, they can enlist participants who will bring the varied interests surrounding access to the meetings.

Some of the ways the cadre are helping with the meeting is by outreaching to their members, providing snacks and drinks, and providing facilitators and note takers. If your group wants to join the cadre and help with public engagement meetings, please contact Jonathan Guzzo with the Washington Trails Association.

We hope that after these meetings are done, the partners, stakeholders and public will continue working with us to address future challenges facing public lands.
