NEW: 2021 "At Ease" Date Planner features U.S. Military Veteran photos of Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie. Key dates in natural resources are included to help inspire while making plans for the new year. The calendar was produced by the USDA Forest Service Eastern Region in partnership with Brushwood Center at Ryerson Woods in Lake Forest, Illinois.

Directions for printing the 2021 "At Ease" Date Planner Paper:

A261 white No. 1 dull-coated text; basic size: 25X38”; weight: 70. Trim size: 11X8.5” Saddle stitch in 2 places on the 11-inch side. Drill a 3/16” hole in the center at the outside edge of each page for hanging.

Veterans Day Program (virtual

U.S. Navy Veteran Angela Walker will sing "America The Beautiful" to kick off a very special program showcasing U.S. Military Veterans and their Midewin NTP photos and stories. USDA-FS will host the program with Brushwood Center at Ryerson Woods on Wednesday, November 11, 4 pm. Participants in the Midewin NTP At Ease Nature Platoon for U.S. Military Veterans and family members present their Midewin NTP photos and stories. Award-winning vocalist Angela Walker, a U.S. Navy veteran, sings "America The Beautiful.
