De Soto Ranger District Recreation

**Camp Shelby military base conducts training on the De Soto Ranger District. The District may experience long and short term road closures throughout the year and dispersed recreation (hunting, hiking, etc.) may be restricted in these areas during training. In addition, there may be short term closures of Rattlesnake Bay ATV Trail. For more information and road closure updates, visit the Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center’s Facebook page or contact the Training Center at (601) 558-2709.

Please obey all warning signs for your safety when visiting Forest Service land within the Camp Shelby Special Use Permit area.
