Forest Service Seeking Candidates for Survey Crew Positions in Marlinton and Elkins

ELKINS, W.Va., December 2, 2019 – Monongahela National Forest is accepting applications for two Civil Engineering Technician positions on the Forest's Survey Crew. One position will be stationed in Marlinton and the other will be stationed in Elkins. These positions are open to all U.S. citizens. You need not be a current federal employee to apply.

Civil Engineering Technicians are responsible for surveying and collecting data about existing and planned forest roads; designing road structures, such as culverts and retaining walls; and inspecting road construction activities.
