Office Support

Visitor services volunteerDo you have a few hours available each week, and would like to spend your volunteer hours indoors?  Or maybe you want to spend your volunteer hours interacting with Forest visitors?

  1. As a Visitor Information Services Volunteer, you would greet visitors, pass out Forest maps, and give out other important Forest information.   These positions are available year-round at all of the district offices, as well as at Timberline Lodge.
  2. As an Administrative Support Volunteer, you would provide vital office support by answering phones, helping with paperwork, and interacting with Forest visitors.

For either of these positions, please contact your nearest district office to find out about current opportunities.

What experience do I need?

All we ask is that you have a desire to help others enjoy the forest.   Ability to read maps, give directions, talk comfortably on the phone, use a computer, and speak Spanish a plus!
