Bell Mountain and Rock Pile Mountain Temporary Closure

Mark Twain National Forest will be closing areas within Bell Mountain and Rock Pile Wilderness for a couple days each in December for public safety. During the times of the closures, feral hog eradication is planned through the implementation of aerial gunning activities. Feral hog eradication continues to be a priority for Mark Twain National Forest and the Missouri Feral Hog Partnership.
Sections of Bell Mountain Wilderness will be closed to the public from Dec. 10 through Dec. 12
Sections of Rock Pile Wilderness will be closed to the public Dec. 12 through Dec. 14.
