Fishing

Largemouth bass, channel catfish, and bluegill are  common in the smaller water bodies, while anglers at Merritt Reservoir target a wide variety of species including walleye, northern pike, muskellunge, largemouth and smallmouth bass, channel catfish, crappie, perch, and bluegill.  Rainbow trout are occasionally stocked at the Bessey Pond and as a put-and-take fishery.
