1987 Land and Resource Management Plan

The 1987 Land and Resource Managemen Plans were effective from their signature in 1987 through January 9, 2025.  The revised Land Management Plan for the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests was signed on January 10, 2025 and became effective on February 9, 2025.   

 

Amendments

1987 Forest Plan Monitoring and Evaluation Reports

At the time the 1987 Forest Plans were signed, a commitment was made to monitor and evaluate how well the plans were being implemented.  A commitment was also made to consider modification to the Forest Plans using amendments based on the monitoring and evaluation findings.  The Monitoring and Evaluation Reports for the 1987 Plans that were completed for each forest are located at the links below.

• Clearwater National Forest
• Nez Perce National Forest
