Forest Service offices closed November 22 for Thanksgiving

Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22 due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Regular office hours will resume Friday, Nov. 23.

Lolo Pass Visitor Center, located on U.S. Highway 12 at the Idaho–Montana state line, will also be closed on Thanksgiving. The visitor center is now operating on its winter schedule; regular office hours are Thursday through Monday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. (PST).

Visitor services at the Fenn Ranger Station Visitor Center, located along the Selway River approximately five miles from Lowell, will end for the season on November 17. Walk–in visitor services are not available at the Fenn Ranger Station Visitor Center during the winter due to the low volume of visitors this time of year. Forest visitors can purchase maps and permits and access other visitor services at the Forest Supervisor’s Office in Kamiah, the Kooskia Ranger Station, or from local vendors. Services at the Fenn Ranger Station Visitor Center are scheduled to resume in March 2019.
