Forest Service offices closed February 17 for President’s Day

KAMIAH, Idaho (February 10, 2020) – Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests offices will be closed Monday, Feb. 17 in observance of President’s Day. Regular office hours will resume Tuesday, Feb. 18.

A variety of local community vendors sell Forest Service passes, permits, and maps during their regular business hours. Many of these vendors may be open when Forest Service offices are closed, such as on weekends and federal holidays. Lolo Pass Visitor Center, located on the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests on U.S. Highway 12 at the Idaho/Montana state line, will be open on President’s Day but will close early (3:15 p.m.) for the holiday. The visitor center is currently operating on its winter schedule; regular hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. (PST), Thursday through Monday.
