Forest Service to prep for dust abatement on FSRs 250 and 247 beginning June 7

KAMIAH, Idaho (June 4, 2021) –  U.S. Forest Service officials advise the public to use caution when traveling on Forest Service Roads (FSR) 250 (French Mountain Road), and 247 (Beaver Creek Road) due to maintenance beginning June 7. 

  Officials said the roads will be being bladed and prepped the week of June 7-15 for dust abatement. The application of the dust abatement material is scheduled for June 15-23.  No weekend operations are anticipated. 

     Signs will be posted during the operation, and travelers should anticipate delays of up to two hours. For more information call 208-476-4541.
