Federal Offices on Olympic National Forest Closed for Thanksgiving Holiday

Olympia, Friday November 22, 2019 – The Olympic National Forest is thankful for many things.  Our amazing volunteers and fabulous partners, our local tribes, communities, and political leaders who help make us successful in caring for the land we manage. 

Also, Smokey Bear will be taking his 75th birthday celebration to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade. Tune in to your local NBC station Thanksgiving morning to see the star of the longest-running public service advertising campaign, who will float through New York City to remind viewers about his important message: Only You Can Prevent Wildfires.

In honor of the Thanksgiving holiday, our offices will be closed Thursday November 28th.  We will resume normal business hours on Friday November 29th
